Onshore Outcomes

  1. Present all documentation

    The importer or nominated agent must present all required documentation to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry as part of the import procedure.

  2. Inspection

    The goods must be unpacked from the container and inspected by a biosecurity officer at the designated approved arrangement site (AA site).

    AA Sites: 1.1 - Sea and Air Freight Depot Operations
    1.3 - Sea and Air Freight Depot Operations (Restricted - Including Personal and Household Effects)
    2.5 - Biosecurity Temperature Controlled Storage Facilities
  3. Release

    The department will release the goods once all of the biosecurity requirements have been met.
