Onshore Outcomes

  1. Present all documentation

    The importer or nominated agent must present all required documentation to the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment as part of the import procedure.

  2. Inspection

    The seed is subject to an inspection by a biosecurity officer.

  3. Testing

    The seed lot must be sampled and analysed for purity in accordance with ISTA website rules.

  4. Treatment

    Following inspection the seed must be treated with a copper based seed fungicide containing 0.25% copper oxychloride.

    Information

    All treatments must be performed at an approved arrangement site (AA site) by an authorised person under a process management system approved arrangement with the department, or under the supervision of a biosecurity officer.

  6. Release

    The department will release the goods once all of the biosecurity requirements have been met.
