Onshore Outcomes

  1. Present all documentation

    The importer or nominated agent must present all required documentation to the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment as part of the import procedure.

  2. Inspection

    The goods must be inspected by a biosecurity officer.

  3. Processing

    The goods are to be treated as directed.

  4. Voluntary disposal

    All waste and residues, including bags used for import, from the processing premises must be incinerated or disposed of as biosecurity waste.

  5. Warnings and Information Notices
    Warning

    The Request for permission to dispose of goods/conveyances form is to be completed by the person seeking permission to dispose of the goods and/or conveyance. It is the responsibility of the person requesting the permission to ensure that they are legally able to dispose of the goods or conveyance in the proposed manner.

    The completed form is to be submitted to treatments@agriculture.gov.au .

  6. Release

    The department will release the goods once all of the biosecurity requirements have been met.
