The BICON system will be undergoing routine maintenance between 9:00AM and 5:00PM (AEST) on Saturday 20th February 2016.
Users may experience intermittent issues when connecting to the BICON website. It is recommended that you do not attempt to submit permit applications during this time.
This system maintenance will also remove the Permit Type / Commodity Search. The department has identified that this search mechanism can allow users to select and submit the incorrect permit application form, leading to delays in processing and assessment, as well as potential for further invoicing to be required. To ensure the correct application form is selected, users should navigate through the relevant import case and use the ‘Apply Now’ option once an import scenario has been defined.
